Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 1988. She
is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of contracting
company, Stone Contracting. Stone is of Swedish, German and British Isles
descent. Stone started acting in the ages of a child, as a participant in the
Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in a
production of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". In her
teens Stone was part of many productions before she took the decision to pursue
a career in acting. According to the official version of the story she
performed her PowerPoint slide show that was made possible by Madonna's
Hollywood and called "Project Hollywood" in an attempt to convince
her parents to let her to leave school and move to Los Angeles. She and her
mother made the pitch and made the move to LA. Her schooling was done at home,
and she was able to spend her time performing auditions. Her TV debut in 2004,
when she was chosen to play the character as Laurie Partridge on the VH1
talent/reality program In Search of the Partridge Family. The show led to many
small TV performances in the years to follow. After a number of performances
she was then able to play the role of Jules in Superbad (2007). Her stardom as
Olive was a highlight of her role in Easy A (2010) followed by a string more
roles. She was a student at Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. While
she's referred to as a redhead, her real hair color is blonde. It was Judd
Apatow who suggested she switch her hair color to Superbad (2007) and she liked
it so much that she decided to keep the color. When she was 15, she convinced
her parents to allow her to go to Hollywood through an PowerPoint presentation
appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She started acting at 11 years old, at
Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she appeared on 16 stages as well as
performed in the comedy improv troupe of the theatre. Caylee Cowan also
appeared at the Valley Youth Theatre.
