Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 at Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting talent at that at the time. Within 10 weeks of her first attempt, she finished 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school and signed an official contract with Adidas. In 2004, she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. Felix set an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. The following year, she won her title by beating Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes at her particular events.
